Are Entry Signals More Reliable During High Volume Trading Sessions?

I have not yet bought your zero sum book but I will for sure whenever you finish it.

Quick question, you say that supply/demand zones formed during high volume times like the NY session are better.  There price action like pin bars and engulfing bars are more reliable when formed during the NY session compared to the asian and european sessions.

Thanks.

Response:

Depends on the currency, really…!

Take EUR/USD, for example…

The patterns formed during the New York and European trading hours tend to be more reliable than those emerging during the Asian session. Why? It’s simple: Traders in the Asian market tend to have a stronger focus on their own national currencies.

That’s why you see a significant dip in volume on the EUR/USD pair as soon as the New York trading session wraps up.

Here’s my advice:

Concentrate on trading pin bars and engulfing candles, but only when they appear during the main trading hours of the specific currency pair. Stay away from the patterns created when the currency pair isn’t being actively traded—like EUR/USD during the Asian session.

I hope this clears things up
